LDRP RN – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Shift: 3x12s, Day/Night Rotate (7a–7p / 7p–7a)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience Required: 2+ years
 

Requirements

• Active ND or Compact RN License.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (required)
• 2 years L&D experience minimum
• Must be able to titrate drips (Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, etc.)

Unit Details

• Department: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
• Ratios (AWHONN guidelines): Labor 1:1–2 | Postpartum 1:2–3
• Patient Population: >35 weeks in labor, mom/baby couplets
• Charting: Meditech + OB Trace Vue (EFM)
• Common Drips: Magnesium, Oxytocin, LR, Zofran, Toradol, etc.
• C-sections: OR team leads surgery; RN circulates for baby care

Scheduling & Call

• Shift: 7a–7p / 7p–7a (block scheduling allowed)
• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
• Holidays: As needed, based on availability
• Floating: MSP/ED for helping hands (mostly 1:1 patient sitting)
