As a Senior Sales Consultant/Territory Lead for Evolution Surgical, 90% of your time is focused on outside sales, selling innovative Arthrex orthopedic products. The Senior Sales Consultant/Territory Lead is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within their assigned territory. You must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through excellent communication and in-person appointments. This position requires maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio, consulting with surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage responsibilities and schedules of subordinate sales consultants and associates. Represent Evolution Surgical, Inc. while working with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed territory objectives and goals. Increase territory volume by identifying new sales opportunities and developing necessary sales plans to develop new business. Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with clients to nurture longstanding relationships. Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to the product portfolio, new techniques, and educational programs. Maintain an accurate proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) database, including forecasting, lead generation, and account maintenance. Participate in ongoing training in sales skills, product features/benefits, hospital protocols, and organizational requirements. Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours as required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. If corrective lenses are required per DMV, they must be worn when working. Responsibly maintain inventory of consigned products. Maintain credentialing requirements for ongoing access to all accounts. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. Background in sports, sports medicine, or competition preferred. Knowledge of human anatomy and relevant background. 4-5 years of demonstrated sales success in the orthopedic sports medicine industry. Ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market. History of quota attainment and proven leadership. Comfortable working in surgery/operating room environments. Willingness to learn and command a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures. Relevant customer relationships in the greater Palo Alto area. Other Requirements: Current Driver’s license with a clear motor vehicle record. Access to personal transportation. Clear drug screening. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
