A rapidly growing manufacturing company in the western suburbs of Chicago is seeking a reliable, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable & Customer Service Coordinator. In this full-time position, youll oversee key financial processes and customer interactions within a dynamic and fast-moving environment. Along with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 3% company match, 15 PTO days, and a discretionary bonus program based on company performance.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Process and maintain accounts payable and receivable functions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring exceptional service and problem resolution.
- Manage daily invoicing, billing, and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of all data.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain organized files for all financial and customer service documentation.
- Provide support in financial reporting and month-end close processes as needed.
- Assist in coordinating supply chain and distribution operations when required.
Qualification of the role:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or customer service in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A strong sense of urgency and reliability in managing day-to-day responsibilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude when handling customer inquiries.
- Knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while also being a team player.
