Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a contract to permanent position offering a dynamic opportunity for growth with a focus on attention to detail. The role involves managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in billing and collections, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, including aging analysis, customer account reviews, and dispute resolution.
- Coordinate with district managers, service managers, and route drivers to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.
- Maintain aging reports by categorizing and prioritizing tasks based on routes and customer accounts.
- Serve as a point of contact for corporate accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Process and record incoming payments efficiently, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to accounts receivable as needed.
- Handle high volumes of incoming checks on Mondays, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and enhance payment processing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections.
- Strong proficiency in managing aging reports and resolving account discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially in high-volume situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with corporate account management is a plus.
