Supervisory It Specialist (Plcpln)

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Comms, Networks and Cyber In-Service Engineering Division of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Division directly supervises first line supervisors, and coordinates with the Department Deputy for Operations. You will provide oversight and guidance to support technical, programmatic, and administrative operations within the Division. You will provide direction and coordination for the Division on operationally related matters under the guidance of the Division Head. You will work closely with the Division Head on implementing Division strategic and tactical actions. The work involves direct interface with all members of the Division staff and first line supervisors. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications

NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting process improvement activities; collect and analyze data for use in the management and direction of programs; implement established policies and procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading process improvement activities and Center-level efforts; establish metrics for use in the management and direction of programs; analyze and/or evaluate proposed changes in policies and procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree Additional Information This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 411 Tech Support Specialist, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories. The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2/3/4/5/6. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
