The Director, Product is responsible for leading the strategic direction, roadmap, and execution of product initiatives within AbsenceSoft’s suite of leave management solutions. This leadership role manages a team of product managers and collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership to ensure the delivery of innovative, user-centric, and market-competitive products. The Director plays a pivotal role in scaling product capabilities, driving business growth, and maintaining the company’s reputation as a leader in leave management software. What You’ll Do Define and execute the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and a designer. Prioritize product initiatives using data-driven decision-making and customer insights. Partner with engineering, product operations, and architecture leaders to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery. Drive go-to-market readiness in collaboration with marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success. Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed. Develop robust clear KPIs and metrics for success and communicate progress to stakeholders Represent the voice of the customer across all product lifecycle stages. Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities. Maintain product backlogs and ensure agile product development processes are followed. Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic planning and product investments. Ensure product compliance with legal, regulatory, and security standards. Champion innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team. Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role. Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and subordinate’s roles. Other duties as assigned.

What’ll Set You Up for Success Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated success managing product teams and launching complex software products. Preferred Skills: MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Experience in B2B SaaS and/or HRTech strongly preferred. Key Skills & Behaviors: Strategic thinking with the ability to align product direction to business outcomes. Proven ability to integrate AI-driven insights into strategic planning, operational improvements, and team development. Deep understanding of agile methodologies and product development lifecycles. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High proficiency in product management tools and platforms. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-centric approach to product design and decision-making. Results-oriented with a passion for delivering high-impact solutions. What To Know Before You Apply We’re located in beautiful Golden, Colorado. This is a full-time, salaried position + bonus.
