This position is for an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with on-call requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong OR experience and a background in orthopedic, oncology, bariatric, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotic surgeries. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols in the operating room.- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records using Epic EMR.- Participate in on-call rotations (1 shift per week and 1-2 weekend shifts per month).- Float to other units or sister campuses as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Qualifications: - Valid Florida RN license or compact license.- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience is required.- BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS and PALS certifications are highly preferred.- Experience with robotic surgery and orthopedic/neuro procedures is a must.- Previous travel nursing experience is required.- Degree accreditation must be reflected in your application or complemented by at least 5 years of experience in the field. Additional Information: - Scrubs will be provided by the hospital.- Compliance with submission deadline and provision of all required demographic information is essential for consideration.
