The ideal candidate will possess a National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification at the time of submission. This position requires a commitment to excellence and a keen eye for detail during surgical operations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in surgical operations by preparing operating rooms and ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and readily available.- Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgery and adhere to safety protocols.- Float to other units as necessary, ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of the facility.- Engage in on-call duties as required, providing support during emergency surgeries.- Follow up on patient care and ensure proper documentation in accordance with facility protocols. Qualifications: - Must hold a valid NBSTSA CST certification.- Proven experience in surgical settings, particularly in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgery.- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.- Minimum [insert years of experience] years of surgical technician experience preferred.- Willingness to float to different units and adapt to varying schedules.
