Regional Maintenance Specialist - Northern, CA South Bay
Ideal candidate will reside in the South Bay area.
The Regional Maintenance Specialist will support our senior living communities across the portfolio in
Northern, CA.
Pay Range: $80k-$85k
Position Overview:
The Regional Maintenance Specialist acts as a Maintenance Director in the absence of a community’s Maintenance Director. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing, performing, and directing maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant, both interior and exterior, to ensure proper operations. The role oversees maintenance and housekeeping departments, ensuring the property is maintained safely, cleanly, and comfortably, in accordance with policies and procedures. Additionally, the Specialist will manage staff hiring, evaluation, coordination, motivation, monitoring performance, scheduling, supervision, and make recommendations regarding staff evaluations, pay increases, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
This position may require travel throughout California, with extensive travel in Northern California. The right candidate should reside in Northern California.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone skilled in training new Maintenance Directors and implementing Oakmont systems from the ground up!
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in residential maintenance and/or housekeeping, handling electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.
Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management, preventative maintenance software, and basic computer skills.
At least one (1) year experience supervising and managing employees preferred.
