Northern, CA. Pay Range: $80k - $85k Position Overview:
The Regional Maintenance Specialist acts as a Maintenance Director in their absence, responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant, both interior and exterior, to ensure proper operation of the property. They will supervise the maintenance and housekeeping departments, ensuring the property is maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner in accordance with policies and procedures. Additionally, they will handle staff hiring, evaluation, motivation, monitoring, scheduling, supervision, and make recommendations regarding staff evaluations, merit increases, disciplinary actions, and terminations. This role may require travel throughout California and extensive travel within the Northern California market. The ideal candidate will reside in Northern California.
This is a great opportunity for someone with the skills to train new Maintenance Directors and implement Oakmont systems from the ground up! Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two (2) years of experience in residential maintenance and/or housekeeping, handling electrical, plumbing, and structural upkeep and repairs. Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management, preventative maintenance software, and basic computer skills.
