Position: Financial Planning & Analysis Director
As the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director, you’ll be the driving force behind our company’s financial vision and strategy. In addition to overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling—you’ll harness data to unlock business insights that inspire transformative decisions and fuel sustainable growth. In this influential role, you’ll partner directly with executive leadership, shaping the future of our organization through sharp analysis and creative financial solutions. You’ll champion innovation, optimize processes, and deliver high-impact guidance to ensure our financial strategies propel us toward our boldest ambitions. ️ What You’ll Do
Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals. Oversee the development and enhancement of financial models related to cash flow, profitability, pricing, and client performance. Deliver financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to support data-informed decision-making. Oversee analysis and reporting of key financial elements, including sales commissions, government census reporting, and benefit costs. Manage firmwide financial reporting dashboards and reporting using Power BI or similar tools to improve visibility and transparency. Collaborate across departments to align financial plans with business objectives and drive cross-functional accountability. Maintain accurate financial forecasts and conduct variance analysis with a focus on identifying strategic risks and opportunities. Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and workflows, emphasizing efficiency, scalability, and automation. Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, supporting audit processes and internal controls as needed. Complete benchmarking surveys. Perform other duties as assigned to support Finance Department and firm business objectives.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance roles, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience leading company-wide budgeting and forecasting efforts. Experience in mid-to-large organizations with complex financial structures. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, particularly in conveying financial strategies and results to executive teams. Working knowledge of GAAP, labor laws, and financial compliance best practices.
