About the Role The Company is in search of a Chairperson for its Information Systems Technology department. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with a strong focus on student success. This pivotal role involves providing strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of high-demand programs, including cybersecurity, game development, network administration, software development, and web development. The Chairperson will be responsible for developing a long-term vision for the department, guiding faculty development, and ensuring program excellence through curriculum innovation, accreditation compliance, and enrollment growth strategies. Additionally, the role includes fostering partnerships with industry, community, and academic stakeholders, as well as leading departmental enrollment management and operational leadership.
Applicants for the Chairperson position must have a Masters degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years' progressive leadership experience in education or industry. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in teaching and the ability to develop courseware, preferably at the college level. The Chairperson will also be involved in faculty and staff management, budget administration, and supporting student success initiatives.
