About the Role
The Company is seeking a Control Design Assessment Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the adequacy of control and testing design executed by the client businesses. This execution-oriented role involves control design assessment processes, results reporting, and insight sharing. The officer will be part of a team of control design assessment professionals, accountable for control and testing design results, and providing advice on control design and remediation. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential for guiding and influencing others, particularly in providing feedback on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls. Applicants should have a university degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and relevant experience in risk and controls or a strong background in operations. Advanced knowledge and experience in control design, execution, and testing are required, as well as an excellent understanding of RCSA/MCA or equivalent risk and control frameworks. The role demands advanced skills in MS Office and the ability to work independently and effectively on virtual teams. The officer will also be involved in developing control design assessment tools, driving continuous improvements, and supporting the adoption of new standards and procedures. The position requires an independent thinker who can perform a credible challenge and is adept at managing relationships and driving accountability.
