About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Talent and Culture to play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture and supporting its mission to reduce human suffering. The successful candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a strategic, collaborative approach, and a proven track record in change management. This key leadership position involves leading the vision, development, and implementation of the Foundation's HR strategy, overseeing all HR functions, and serving as a strategic advisor to the executive team. The VP will be responsible for talent management, organizational design, and fostering a culture of performance, trust, and accomplishment. They will also lead a dedicated team and be involved in the planning and design of the Foundation's new headquarters.
Candidates for the VP, Talent and Culture role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree or HR certification preferred. A minimum of 10 years' HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is required. Experience in a mission-driven organization is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements, both domestically and internationally. They should be excellent communicators, strategic thinkers, and adept at problem-solving.
