About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Legal & Compliance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will serve as a key strategic advisor, providing guidance on legal and regulatory matters, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This role is pivotal in contributing to the overall business strategy and requires a professional with a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school, a minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience, and proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents. Experience in corporate, commercial, and contracting law is essential, with a preference for those who have worked with private equity-backed portfolio companies and in a production/job shop manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Legal & Compliance include contract negotiation, policy development, handling litigation and compliance issues, and providing legal counsel to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and mitigation, be adept at managing multiple projects, and possess excellent communication skills.
