Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified Registered Echocardiogram Technician to provide exceptional diagnostic care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role involves performing echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and transesophageal echocardiograms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to high-quality patient care through the execution of diagnostic procedures tailored to all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and transesophageal echocardiograms with efficiency and accuracy. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality diagnostic and therapeutic care. - Deliver patient-specific care while adhering to standard procedures and protocols. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment that meets safety guidelines. - Float to similar acuity levels as needed, ensuring continuity of care across units. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Minimum of 2 years experience in the ultrasound field. - ARDMS certification required; CCI RCS preferred. - BLS certification required. - Registered Ultrasound Tech preferred; NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license preferred. - Experience with the EPIC charting system is a plus. - Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Skills: - Proficiency in Adult Acute Care and Outpatient settings. - Familiarity with 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Color Doppler, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE). - Experience with imaging modalities, such as GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and Toshiba. Patient Demographics: - Adults and Geriatrics. Daily census involves approximately 8 studies. Additional Information: - Appropriate scrub attire (solid or design compliant) is expected while at the facility. - Must be able to provide Age-Specific Care across various patient populations.
