Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. This role involves preparing the operating room, managing the sterile field, and assisting during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic and total joint procedures, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare the operating room and set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.- Manage the sterile field and ensure the integrity of all instruments and supplies.- Perform counts of sponges, instruments, and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects.- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a safe and efficient operating environment.- Float to other surgical facilities as needed, with ample time provided for relocation. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, specifically in orthopedic and total joint surgeries.- TS-C (Tech in Surgery Certified) credential accepted through NCCT.- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.- Strong organizational and communication skills.- Ability to float to other locations as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
