The ideal candidate will be proficient in total joints, orthospine, Da Vinci robotics, and vascular procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare the operating room, including maintaining the sterile field and setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.- Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgical procedures.- Manage and prepare surgical equipment, ensuring all tools are accounted for and sterile.- Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects in the surgical field.- Assist in the management of specimens during surgery and ensure proper handling and documentation.- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical operations. Qualifications: - Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or another programmatically-accredited surgical technology program.- Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.- Proven experience in performing essential surgical technologist duties, particularly in total joints, orthospine, Da Vinci robotics, and vascular surgery.- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Schedule: - Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM- 4 shifts per week- On-call responsibilities required Contract Details: - Duration: 91 weeks - Guaranteed hours for the duration of the contract.At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
