The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a level I trauma center and bring competence and comfort in caring for a diverse range of ICU patients. Key Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care to patients in various critical care settings, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), as well as ICU/PCC patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) awaiting bed placement.- Float between multiple ICU units as needed to ensure continuity of care.- Participate in a competency test within 48 hours of submission for the role.- Adhere to hospital protocols while wearing navy blue scrubs as part of the required dress code.- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Qualifications: - Current and valid RN license.- Epic experience is REQUIRED.- Prior experience in a level I trauma center is highly preferred.- Experience floating to different ICUs and familiarity with complex patient care scenarios are highly desired.- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.- Ability to work weekend blocks (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday).
