- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week, client may cancel up to 36 hrs per 13-week contract

- Experience: Minimum 1 year Med/Surg required
- Preferred: Ortho trauma, neuro, telemetry, wound care, post-MI, CVA
- First-time travelers accepted
- Certifications: BLS and NIHSS (AHA/Red Cross only)
- License: Active IL RN license required at submission
- Compliance: Strictmust complete all onboarding and documentation timely
- RTO Limit: Up to 5 days (non-holiday); more requires approval
- Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Modules: Up to 16 hours non-billable; completed virtually Day 1

- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Daily Census: ~21
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 for all shifts
- Common Diagnoses: Respiratory illness, infection, stroke, trauma, surgical overflow
- Procedures/Equipment:
- Wound care, VACs, chest tubes
- Central/peripheral IVs, tube feeding
- Colostomy care, insulin protocols
- Oxygen delivery methods (CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, etc.)
- Rapid Response involvement
- Cerner charting
? Summary
This is a Night Shift Med Surg RN role at a Level I Trauma Center in IL. Float flexibility, strong Med-Surg experience, and full compliance are required. Candidates must hold an active IL license, be open to floating, and work 2 of 3 major holidays. Preferred candidates will have telemetry and neuro experience, though first-time travelers are welcome.
