American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery position with variable 12-hour shifts and strong L&D skills required.Job Details•Work in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units of a hospital setting,•Cares for laboring mothers, assists with delivery, and provides immediate newborn and post-delivery care,•Unit has 8 labor beds and 18 postpartum beds,•Variable day and night 12-hour shifts after orientation, totaling 36 hours per week,•Required to take 12 hours of call at least once per month,•Uses Meditech EMR and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems,•May be required to float to other nursing departments as needed,Job Requirements•Active RN license required; must obtain Hawaii RN license by start if not already held,•Minimum of 3 years recent labor and delivery nursing experience required,•Current BLS and NRP certifications required,•STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications recommended,•Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start,•COVID-19 vaccination required in compliance with hospital policies,Additional Information•Primary responsibilities include labor and delivery care, newborn care, and postpartum patient care,•Staffing and shift coverage may require availability for all shifts, including weekends,•Facility may terminate assignment for cause at its discretion,•Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided during orientation,•Plan to arrive in Hawaii at least two days before start for mandatory in-person onboarding,•Orientation is provided during the first week of assignment,),•hash,:•1765274474137104454,
