About the Role As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a holistic omni-channel customer experience, ensuring high visual and commercial standards according to store format, location, and global & regional strategies. You will lead the store team to excel, foster an inclusive culture promoting collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit, and analyze sales to create plans for optimizing results and profits. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but typical responsibilities include: Managing the total omni-channel customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards are met Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions Analyzing sales and budget goals, creating plans to optimize results Providing excellent customer service and guiding customers through fashion stories Promoting the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives Scheduling staff according to sales forecasts and activities Ensuring routines in fitting rooms and checkout are followed Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness Managing store maintenance efficiently Handling administrative routines for people and operations Fashion & Trend Awareness Staying updated on fashion trends, brands, competitors, and influencers Ensuring the team provides product and fashion knowledge to customers Understanding the local market, customers, and fashion trends Team & Development Talent and performance management, including recruiting, onboarding, and development Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning Sharing knowledge and skills with the team Collaborating with area and store leadership teams Planning and scheduling team activities Communicating regularly to motivate and inform staff Ensuring procedures, routines, security, and legal requirements are followed Participating in onboarding, training, and development programs Retail Operations & Visual Execution Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented sales floor and back of house Ensuring high-quality visual and product presentation Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation Overseeing daily opening and closing routines Ensuring the full garment cycle and fitting room routines meet standards Maintaining in-store OMNI services and technology tools Keeping price signs accurate and consistent Maintaining BOH areas for safety and tidiness Who You Are A strong leader who enjoys responsibility and team coaching Ambitious, communicative, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers Relevant leadership experience in retail management Experience in retail operations and team collaboration
