As a crucial part of the surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the operating room across various specialties. This position requires a strong background and hands-on experience in the operating room, along with the ability to respond to on-call assignments promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Scrub for all surgical cases and assist in maintaining a sterile environment.- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and surgical protocols.- Prepare surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring readiness for each procedure.- Respond to calls within a 30-minute window, including weekdays and weekends, with availability on rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights). Qualifications: - Certification required with NBSTSA or NCCT (unacceptable other certifications or uncertified candidates).- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room within the last 3 years; ideally 3 years.- Level 1 Trauma experience is mandatory (at least 1 year out of the last 3).- A minimum of 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years.- Proficient in scrubbing for General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant surgeries (3 or 4 on a scale of strength).- Willingness to work on-call, with accommodations provided in-house if necessary.
