Speech-Language Pathologist (Elementary - FMLA Coverage)
Location: Waltham, MA 02452 Grade Levels: K–5th Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite Contract Dates: October 2025 – June 15, 2026 Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM | Monday–Friday Salary Range (School-Year Only): $62,000 – $75,000
Hourly Range: $50.32 - $60.88 About the Opportunity:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support an elementary school in Waltham, Massachusetts. This position begins in October and continues through the end of the school year as an FMLA coverage, making it essentially a full-year opportunity. In this role, the SLP will work in a separate classroom setting, serving students with multiple disabilities and AAC needs. The school provides office space and fosters a collaborative, supportive work culture. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services to elementary-aged students with complex needs Provide therapy in small group and individual settings within a separate classroom Implement and support use of AAC devices Collaborate with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Support IEP development and attend team meetings
Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts SLP Licensure via mass.gov Active DESE Certification (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) Experience with AAC and students with multiple disabilities is strongly preferred Prior school-based experience is a plus
