Our IT team is seeking a Manager, Database Administration withdeepexpertise in Microsoft SQL Serve r

and strongproficiency in PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have hands-onexperience optimizing extremely large datasets (2 billion+ records),diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues, and architectingdatabase solutions that scale with business growth. This is astrategic and hands-on leadership role, working closely withengineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Own the full product lifecycle for compliance applications,including requirements gathering, roadmap planning, prioritization,and delivery Ensure product capabilities align with SEC and FINRA regulationsrelated to recordkeeping, surveillance, insider trading, employeetrading, and disclosures Serve as the key liaison between Compliance, Legal, Engineering,and vendors to gather feedback and convert business needs intotechnical requirements Drive integration of third-party compliance tools into internalplatforms includingsurveillance, e-communications monitoring, andcase management Collaborate with data teams to maintain accurate, auditablecompliance data that supports internal reporting and regulatory investigations Lead agile ceremonies, manage sprint backlogs, track progress, anddeliver high-quality, timely solutions Evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors providing compliance-relatedtechnologies and services Support internal audits and risk assessments through cleardocumentation, transparent workflows, and process improvements Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills

Bachelor's degree from accredited university required, preferablyin Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 10+ years of experience in database administration, with8+ years in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above) Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including administration and optimization Proven experience managing and optimizing very large datasets (2+billion records) Deep understanding of query optimization, indexing strategies, anddatabase internals Experience with high-availability solutions (e.g., Always OnAvailability Groups, Log Shipping, Replication) Strong knowledge of partitioning, data archiving, andhorizontal/vertical scaling techniques Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, T-SQL, Bash, or Python tosupport automation and maintenance tasks Familiarity with cloud database solutions including Azure SQL, AWSRDS, Amazon Aurora, or managed PostgreSQL Strong proficiency in SQL query optimization, database performancetuning, and troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and abilityto work independently or as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability toeffectively interact with diverse stakeholders under tightdeadlinesin a high-stakes environment Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance,healthcare) is a plus Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: AzureDatabase Administrator Associate, PostgreSQL Certified Professional,MongoDB Certified DBA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure SolutionsArchitect Expert are highly preferred What We Offer

A reasonableestimate of the current range is $141,000 to $186,000. Colleagues maybe eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation basedon the colleague's and the firm's performance.
