Job Description
The Health Data Platforms team at PA Consulting is a leading provider of managed software services for healthcare quality measurement and reporting. We are seeking a highly skilled CMS Regulatory Specialist to ensure our software provides customer value while complying with regulations like CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services). This role involves guiding the development of our healthcare quality solutions, applying ingenuity to data platforms for the clinical and biopharmaceutical community, aiming to improve care across the medical spectrum. Job Summary:
The CMS Regulatory Specialist will ensure our software and services meet regulatory standards and quality initiatives, working closely with the product team as a Product Owner. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management within a software environment, with extensive client interaction and opportunities to influence client investments in quality measurement and improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Product Owner, defining product vision, roadmap, and requirements. Prioritize and manage the product backlog aligned with regulatory standards and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements and incorporate investment areas into the development backlog. Stay updated on CMS regulations and industry trends to proactively address impacts. Monitor and interpret CMS guidelines to ensure compliance. Act as the primary contact for CMS inquiries and audits. Provide training on CMS regulatory requirements and best practices. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in policy, regulatory affairs, IT, or related field. 5+ years in software product management, preferably in healthcare quality reporting. Experience as a Product Owner in software development. Knowledge of CMS quality reporting programs like MIPS, MACRA, HEDIS, and related regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Product management certification (e.g., CSPO) is a plus. Additional Information:
Hybrid work model: minimum 2 days in the office or on client site per week, up to 5 days as needed. Benefits at PA:
