Austin metro area , is seeking an experienced and strategic
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
to lead its
people strategy, talent development, and HR operations . As the company scales, the CHRO will play a critical role in fostering a high-performance culture, implementing best-in-class HR practices, and ensuring the alignment of human capital initiatives with business objectives.
About the Role
As CHRO, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for
building and optimizing HR processes, driving workforce planning, and enhancing talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development . You will work closely with the CEO and private equity sponsors to ensure the company's people strategy supports its aggressive growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement
human capital strategies
that align with the company's business goals and growth initiatives. Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Lead
executive recruiting, workforce planning, and employer branding
to attract and retain top-tier technology talent. Culture & Employee Engagement
- Shape a high-performance, values-driven culture that fosters employee engagement and organizational success. Compensation, Benefits & Equity Design
- Develop
competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and executive incentive plans
to drive performance and retention. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee HR policies, labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices for an efficient and scalable HR function. Leadership Development & Succession Planning
- Implement training programs, leadership pipelines, and succession planning strategies to
develop and retain key talent . M&A & Integration
- Support
organizational design, change management, and cultural integration
for acquisitions and rapid expansion. Ideal Candidate Profile
15+ years of HR leadership experience , with
prior CHRO or senior HR executive experience in a private equity-backed technology, SaaS, or software company
preferred. Deep expertise in scaling HR functions
for high-growth organizations, including
talent strategy, culture transformation, and leadership development . Experience working with private equity firms , including driving value creation, optimizing organizational structure, and aligning HR with business strategy. Proven ability to lead through change
in fast-paced, innovative environments. Strong experience managing
executive compensation, incentive plans, and equity structures . Ability to build relationships with senior executives, investors, and key stakeholders. Experience integrating HR strategies post-M&A to drive synergy and cultural alignment. MBA, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification preferred. Why Join?
