Responsibilities
:
Set up, operate, optimize, and maintain assigned production equipment. Meet and exceed production standards while maintaining product quality. Minimize and prevent equipment downtime and sustain budgeted waste levels. Maintain accurate equipment logs and record downtime and maintenance issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Start up equipment and ensure accurate functioning. Monitor component inventories and safety guards. Maintain a clean and orderly production environment. Monitor in-process quality and address issues as needed. Perform required quality checks and process challenges. Follow safety, environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements. Support upstream and downstream operations. Perform rework as required. Work optimally in a team environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Skills and Certifications:
Maintenance Repair/Mechanical Experience or Proficiency required. Knowledge of automated processes required. Familiarity with PLCs, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics desired. Proficiency with basic hand tools required. Familiarity with mechanical components (bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, ball valves) and electrical components (photo-eyes, scales, reed switches, VFDs) desired. Clear and legible handwriting required.
Qualifications
:
High School Diploma/G.E.D preferred. 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred. 6-12 months of manufacturing experience desired. bility to work autonomously and be self-motivated. Flexibility to work any shift, including 12-hour night or 8-hour night shifts.
