Challenging the norm and innovating better methods is core to our approach.Position OverviewThe EHS Coordinator at Landmark will support the Director of EHS in ensuring a safe, healthy, and secure work environment for all employees, contractors, and the public. This position is critical in administering safety programs and policies as part of Landmark's EHS Management System. The EHS Coordinator is responsible for conducting safety orientations, performing site inspections, investigating incidents, and ensuring that hazard assessments are completed and necessary equipment and training are provided. This role requires staying current on industry trends and regulatory changes to promote a culture of safety continuously.Key Responsibilities Provide program administration to ensure that a safe, healthy, and secure work environment exists for employees and the public, including persons with disabilities, and that the public is protected from harm in connection with the project's operation. Perform safety orientations for employees and subcontractors. Foster a safe and secure work environment that has zero tolerance for violence, threats, harassment, and intimidation in the workplace. Conduct periodic safety inspections of worksites to identify and correct unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and document the results. Investigate and document all occupational injuries. Ensure that hazard assessments are completed for each task, and, as a result of the assessment, crewmembers are provided with the necessary equipment and training to safely perform job functions. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.Experience Minimum of five (5) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions. Exposure to construction and/or manufacturing production environments from a safety aspect. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations applicable to construction and manufacturing environments. Understanding of safety audit and inspection protocols and best practices. Knowledge of risk assessment and hazard control techniques, including job safety analysis (JSA) and incident investigation methodologies. Familiarity with construction and manufacturing industry operations and the associated health, safety, and environmental challenges. Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changes in regulations and company policies as needed. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively train, inform, and collaborate with employees at all levels. Maintain knowledge of up-to-date industry best practices, emerging safety trends, and regulatory updates to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach. Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
