The Indiana University Student Health Center is part of The Office of Student Life and provides comprehensive on-campus facilities dedicated to supporting student well-being. It offers health promotion programs, a full-service medical clinic, counseling and psychological services (CAPS), and a pharmacy, all tailored to meet the unique needs of IU Bloomington students. Job Summary

Department Specific Responsibilities Responsible for providing administrative support and performing a variety of clerical tasks in support of the Associate Vice Provost (AVP) for Health and Wellbeing, as well as other Student Health Center (SHC) directors, which includes the Executive Director, Associate Director, and Medical Director. Provides timely and high-quality administrative and clerical support for the AVP for Health and Wellbeing, Executive Director, Associate Director, Medical Director, and others within the SHC's Administration suite. Manages calendars for the AVP and SHC administrators by scheduling meetings and events. Assists with projects, meeting planning, and preparation. Performs general administrative tasks including typing, scanning, faxing documents, answering phones, and taking messages. Places orders for office supplies, food, rental equipment, printing services, name tags, and other administrative needs. Acts with discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding schedules and meeting details. Provides excellent customer service while serving as receptionist for the SHC Administration suite. Answers phone calls, receive visitors, and respond to questions related to SHC services. Collects, opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail. Prepares responses to routine requests. Sends and receives faxes as needed. Serves as a liaison with Access Nurse and IU Telecom regarding SHC closures and revised operating hours. Maintains and distributes parking permits for employees who park in the patient lot. Supports the SHC Medical Clinic by implementing changes to clinic schedules for all providers. General Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to a department or group of professionals, exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy. Utilizes business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Compiles data for expense and statistical reports. Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email promptly, courteously, and accurately. Schedules and confirms appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements; tracks expenses. Participates in the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies and practices for the organization. May perform other duties related to maintaining an internal website and/or working with social media. Qualifications

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary

$37,000 - $41,225 depending upon experience
