This is a great opportunity to work in one of the Southwest's busiest and most advanced surgical centers. Candidates must have recent open-heart experience and proficiency in vein harvesting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, and closure during complex cardiovascular proceduresPerform saphenous vein harvesting and other advanced first assist techniquesMaintain sterile technique and surgical readiness throughout proceduresCollaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomesComply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirementsRequirementsCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) - requiredCertified Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA) - requiredHigh school diploma - requiredBLS certification - requiredRecent experience in CVOR and open-heart surgery - requiredVein harvesting experience - requiredAcute care clinical experience - preferredBenefitsWorking with us means access to a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your well-being, career development, and financial future.
