Job Responsibilities Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their individual functional goals. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care. Guide Patients and Families: Educate both patients and their families on effective therapy practices to ensure continual progress beyond the clinic. Track and Adapt Treatment Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery. Education Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Opportunities for continuing education or additional post-graduate certifications welcomed and supported. Certification Requirements
Active
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license required. NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must. Skills Needed
