Description Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients through standardized assessments and careful observation. Create individualized treatment strategies that align with both immediate desires and long-term needs focusing on communication and swallowing functions. Deliver personalized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities. Work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure a unified approach to patient care. Engage with patients and their families, providing them with the tools and knowledge to continue progress beyond therapy areas. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care for all patients. Maintain documentation that adheres to all relevant state, federal, and organizational standards with precision and accuracy. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Skills

Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for individuals of all ages, with an understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to effectively connect with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
