Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans that effectively address immediate goals as well as the long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges of your patients. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing functionalities. Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to curate unified care strategies. Engage in educational initiatives for patients and families, empowering their progress outside of therapy sessions. Support occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, guaranteeing seamless care throughout the treatment continuum. Ensure precise and timely documentation is maintained in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Continuously update your knowledge and skills through educational pursuits and collaboration with colleagues. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet obtained ASHA certification. Certifications
Valid state licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Skills
