Position Summary

The Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, material flow, and team leadership within the facility. This role ensures that all materials, from raw components to packaging supplies, are accurately recorded/received, tracked, and available when needed. The Inventory Lead provides hands-on guidance to the inventory team and plays a critical role in supporting production and material accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and oversee all inventory control activities to include receiving vendor-delivered products, putting away received goods in the proper location, location transfers, and issuing products to production Use ERP system to perform and validate inventory transactions in real time. Ensure system accuracy and investigate any discrepancies between Sam Moore Purchase Orders and vendor packing slips. Inventory Lead will transact receipts and issues within the ERP system. Lead, train and support the inventory control team to meet daily goals. Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure accountability. Recommend and implement improvements to material flow, storage layout and inventory processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with production to align material availability with manufacturing needs. Assist the Procurement department in maintaining and improving all inventory replenishment systems. Ensure team adherence to proper safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies related to material handling and storage. Qualifications

4+ years of inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)

for inventory transactions, reporting, and material tracking. High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to problem-solve discrepancies. Computer proficiency (Excel, label printers, handheld scanners). Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing or walking for extended periods. Why Join Us?
