1-2 minimum Float Requirements: Med/surg RNs may float to another med/surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units. Required Certifications:

MMC mandatory onboarding education. Unit Information: Number of Beds:
43 Patient Ratios:
Day Shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night Shift Med/Surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1 Equipment:
Ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care/maintenance EMR:

Must Have Skills/Experience:
IMC RNs must have Vent experience. All RNs must have experience with tracheostomies and interpreting telemetry strips. Type of Patients on Unit:
Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition. Personality Fit:
Teamwork. Flexibility. Good communication. Patient-centered care. Dress Code: Any unacceptable attire:
Unprofessional clothing, shirts with logos other than hospital-related.
