Job Responsibilities Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at reaching their specific functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor function, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to ensure continued progress at home Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to ensure patients are on the right path Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported Licensure

license NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Essential Skills
