Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and establish individualized therapy strategies to support their functional ambitions Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic care Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic methods to facilitate ongoing progress outside the therapy setting Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment protocols as necessary, ensuring patients consistently meet their goals Required Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported Licenses and Certifications
Valid
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Key Skills
