Field Service Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to join their team in Reno, NV and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle. There will be mileage reimbursement for required daily travel. Must be able to work evenings on occasion. Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs point-of-sale systems, hardware and peripherals Resolves customer technical issues and answers questions as needed Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems Trains customer employees as necessary Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs Performs administrative work such as email and daily case management Dispatches to multiple customer sites to bring issues to resolution Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Works under minimal supervision Typically reports to a project leader or manager Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years preferred but not required Must have excellent customer service skills Must maintain those skills under pressure Wide-Format Printer Experience preferred CompTIA A+ preferred but not required Must be able to communicate well and often Must be able to handle administrative tasks without too much assistance after initial training period Wage Range
The rate for this position is between $17.00 - $24.75 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Benefits
