Job Summary
Provides support for the COMP & COMP-Northwest Office of Academic Affairs by scheduling, assisting, and managing information and provides administrative support to the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) leadership.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students. Excellent computer skills are necessary to set up document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Resource Scheduler, and any other software program required by this position. Skills with fax, copy machine and telephone operation. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments. Required Qualifications
Education:
Any combination of education and/or experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience:
2-3 years of office experience. Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree. Essential Job Duties
Key Responsibilities
Provides support to both the Vice Dean, Academic Affairs and the Associate Dean, Clinical Education by scheduling appointments including clinical site visits, maintaining department records and files, and the occasional correspondence. Initiates correspondence in anticipation of the office's response on routine matters. Key Responsibilities
Provides support to the departments by scheduling meeting notices and agendas, coordinating arrangements for departmental meetings Key Responsibilities
Supports OAA on-campus curricular and non-curricular events including conference weeks, ceremonies, and special events through supply ordering, staffing, proctoring, arranging hospitality suite and similar tasks. Participates in the design and distribution of special projects for OAA as directed by supervisor. Key Responsibilities

Work Schedule
40 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Some overtime may be required.
