Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of a manufacturing facility. This includes troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, as well as handling general building maintenance such as plumbing, painting, and light construction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, along with hands-on experience in facility upkeep. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Essential Duties Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in production Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to restore operations Maintain and repair facility infrastructure including lighting, plumbing, doors, windows, and HVAC systems Perform general building maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, basic carpentry, and light construction Install, move, or modify equipment and machinery as needed, ensuring proper alignment, wiring, and calibration Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety standards Competencies, Experience, and Qualifications Required

High school diploma or GED required Technical certification or associate's degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical technology, preferred 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Basic computer skills required; experience with maintenance software (e.g., CMMS), preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Proficient in troubleshooting Benefits
