An company in the San Gabriel Valley is seeking an
Accounting Manager
to join their team. The role involves managing inventory, COGS, GAAP compliance, internal controls, and supporting system implementations and upgrades. Success in this role requires analytical skills, excellent communication, and project management abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
7+ years of accounting experience
Inventory accounting experience
CPA certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory, gross margin, and reporting
Develop and establish standard costs and product costing information
Oversee COGS and month-end close related to inventory
Monitor inventory valuation, balances, adjustments, reconciliations, purchases, counts, internal controls, and variances
