Job Description: Manage phone calls, visitors, and appointments for the Parish Priest and ministries. Maintain and update the Master Online Calendar and Priests Daily Schedule. Administer sacramental activities (e.g., Baptism, Marriage, Funerals) including documentation and logbook entries. Update church website and facility bookings; coordinate with Webmaster. Create and distribute the Weekly Sunday Bulletin and Monthly Vine Newsletter. Maintain stewardship records and manage quarterly accounting and mailings. Handle bookkeeping: bills, receipts, reimbursements, petty cash, and deposits. Maintain parishioner contact lists and generate reports using church management software. Manage mail, shipments, office supplies, and equipment maintenance. Support church events, meetings, and marketing efforts including the annual Festival. Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Priest or Parish Council. Qualifications 35 years of administrative/clerical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks, Adobe, graphic/web design tools, and internet research. Typing speed of 60+ WPM. Experience in bookkeeping and handling confidential information. Professional demeanor, integrity, and customer service orientation. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. Familiarity with Orthodox Christian practices and multilingual skills (English, Greek, Spanish) a plus. Valid Florida drivers license and willingness to run errands.
