hotels in Hanover, MD. We are seeking an experienced hospitality engineering leader to oversee the operations and maintenance of two select-service hotels in the Hanover, MD market. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems and equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of property condition and guest satisfaction. The Dual Chief Engineer will oversee the physical building structure and all related mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems in alignment with preventative maintenance and energy conservation programs. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards, while managing budgets, capital projects, and maintenance schedules. Key responsibilities include: Leading, training, and mentoring the engineering team.

Scheduling and directing daily engineering operations to support overall hotel performance.

Overseeing capital improvement projects and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Maintaining assets to the highest standards to extend equipment life and enhance guest experience.

This is an opportunity for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-property environment and takes pride in both team development and operational excellence. Requirements Minimum of five years experience as a Chief Engineer or Facilities Engineer in a hospitality-related environment. Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and safety operating systems. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, as well as national, state, and local building regulations and codes. Proficiency in equipment operations and preventative maintenance procedures. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass a background check. Benefits
