The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and excel in teamwork while managing a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical care unit primarily focused on cardio-pulmonary needs.- Monitor patients for cardiac requirements and maintain a stable environment for patients, including those with COVID-19.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage high patient turnover, ensuring smooth admission and discharge processes.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing Meditech EMR 6.0.- Assist with standard nursing procedures and equipment, including BiPAP, Heparin Gtts, and Phillips Cardiac Monitors.- Actively participate in team meetings and engage in shared responsibilities across various shifts. Qualifications: - Must possess a valid RN license.- Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is not required.- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high admission/discharge rates.- Candidates with a positive and outgoing demeanor are preferred. Personality Fit: - Self-motivated and accountable.- Strong team player with effective communication skills.- Dedication to providing excellent patient care through collaboration with healthcare professionals.
