About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Records Management Specialist with a focus on data privacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure the implementation of systematic controls and workflows for records management across the data ecosystem. This role requires the creation and maintenance of a product vision aligned with business priorities, acting as a product owner/manager to meet enterprise policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with data stakeholders to capture and prioritize records management use cases. The VP will also be expected to own and prioritize the records management roadmap, partner with various functions to define the scope of work, and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders. Applicants should have 6-10 years' of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with a Bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement. A Master's degree is a plus. The role demands experience in product management or ownership within an Agile environment, particularly in the design, development, and management of automated solutions. A strong understanding of data retention and remediation principles, as well as data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, is essential. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess a product mindset, and have superior communication and collaboration skills. The ability to manage through ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and a bias for change are also key personal attributes for this position.
