About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for Digital Assets Advisory within its Global Financial Crimes division. The successful candidate will be a key player in the identification and prevention of financial crimes, with a specific focus on digital assets. This role requires a professional with a strong background in financial services, particularly in the area of digital asset financial crimes compliance. The Vice President will be responsible for a range of activities, including but not limited to, financial crimes compliance and regulatory matters related to digital assets, development and implementation of risk-based processes and controls, and providing specialized training on digital assets to internal teams. The role demands a detail-oriented individual with exceptional problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills, who can work both independently and as part of a global program.
Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 8 years' of relevant experience, and a certification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist or equivalent, or the ability to obtain such certification within the first 15 months of employment. The role requires a deep understanding of the laws, rules, and best practices pertaining to digital assets, particularly cryptocurrency, and the ability to assess complex commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Responsibilities also include maintaining awareness of regulatory changes, conducting ad hoc due diligence projects, and assisting with regulatory exams and internal audits.
