Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Duties: Represent clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, insurance defense, and general liability cases. Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials. Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations. Assist senior attorneys in case strategy development and trial preparation. Manage case files, timelines, and client communications to ensure timely and efficient case handling. Collaborate with team members to develop effective legal strategies for clients. Requirements: Litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Education & Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility to obtain membership. Certifications: North Carolina Bar Admission (Required). Skills: Strong legal research and writing abilities. Excellent courtroom and trial advocacy skills. Ability to effectively manage litigation matters from inception through resolution. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
