With 100% company-paid healthcare, a generous 401(k) match, and opportunities for career advancement, this is a company where employees are truly valued.Job DescriptionJob Description: As the Quality Control Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring field installations meet company standards, project specs, and regulatory requirements across power, telecom, and gas infrastructure work. You'll conduct jobsite inspections, train crews on installation and safety protocols, manage QC documentation, and work closely with both internal teams and external clients to resolve issues quickly and proactively. This role is a crucial part of project closeouts and continuous improvement efforts and is well-suited for someone who thrives in the field and knows how to build trust across teams.Key Responsibilities:Conduct on-site audits to ensure trenchless dry utility installations meet design, safety, and quality standardsLead and mentor a team of 8, including field QC staff and supervisorsDevelop and maintain detailed QC reports, checklists, and as-built documentationReview drawings and specs to ensure field work aligns with project intentMonitor material and equipment compliance with submittals and industry benchmarksTrain foremen and crews on quality standards, best practices, and safety proceduresInterface with clients, inspectors, and internal leadership to ensure transparency and quality alignmentDrive root cause analysis and implement corrective action plansSupport closeout processes and final QC signoffsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
