This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards across all trenchless underground utility projects-including power, telecom, and gas installations. You'll be instrumental in implementing quality systems, driving field compliance, and working closely with foremen, PMs, and subcontractors to ensure safety, accuracy, and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all quality control efforts for active underground utility projects (dry utilities)Conduct jobsite inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and relevant codes (OSHA, NEC, NESC)Review project drawings and specifications to verify alignment with field executionMaintain and develop QC documentation, including checklists, inspection reports, and logsCoordinate corrective actions and quality improvement efforts with project managers and foremenTrain and mentor field crews on quality standards and installation best practicesVerify material and equipment compliance with approved submittalsLead root cause analysis on issues impacting quality or performanceSupport project close-out procedures, including final QC sign-offs and as-built recordsBuild and maintain strong communication with internal teams, inspectors, and clientsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
